MSNBC's Brian Williams has laid our fears to rest and assured AARP magazine's Joe Conason (Nov./Dec. 2008 Issue, page 53) that "Okay, it may loosen up a conversation...It may give me more ease with them. It may give me more access. But you don't shy away from that. You don't say 'Oh, God, I enjoy sitting down talking with John McCain, thus I worry about my ability to remain impartial, thus I worry that I'm going to give him a pass'". Fine; nobody is terribly worried about the Republican ticket getting 'a pass' at the moment. Perhaps Williams would like to explain to the nation why Obama's links to domestic, unrepentant terorrists, foreign warlords, and voter registration fraud have been only begrudgingly given a nod on his or any other network besides FOX News.
